National Butchers Week is a new special event taking place from March 10-16.

Organised by trade magazine Meat Trades Journal and supported by the Guild of Q Butchers, the week is all about celebrating the High Street butcher and aims to encourage more consumers to shop at their local butcher. (read more)

Supreme Q Award For Buckwells Of Southsea

2007 Smithfield Awards

Judging has now taken place for the Smithfield Awards. Nearly 400 products from Q members throughout the UK were assessed by a panel of experts and the top category awards and overall supreme award will be presented by TV chef Paul Rankin in London in November.
